Petr Vok of Rožmberk sells to the gamekeeper Jakub Schmelz and his heirs a newly built hammermill situated in the old game-preserve behind the Český Krumlov castle with all the accessories, water supply, house, charcoal smelter, all of which is situated by the brook, as well as fishing on the brook. The hammer and hamernik is exempt from serf fees and dues. Jabkub Schmelz shall pay 600 thalers for everything with the first 100 thalers to be paid by St. George in 1603 and further instalments of 50 thalers by each St. George until the full amount is paid. Jacob Schmelz may not sell the hamlet until he has paid the full 600 thalers...
